Dan Olschwang
President and CEO
Prior to JumpTap, Mr. Olschwang was General Manager of the Comverse Fun division. Under Mr. Olschwang's leadership, Comverse became the leader in the global ringback market, reaching over 200 million end-users across mobile operators worldwide. Prior to Comverse, Mr. Olschwang served as the Head of Products and Services for Orange in Israel. Under his leadership Orange launched many pioneering products and was ranked by industry analysts as one of the top five most innovative global mobile operators. Prior to Orange, Mr. Olschwang was a management consultant developing market and technical strategies for Israeli telecommunication firms.
Lacey Brandt
Chief Financial Officer
Lacey Brandt serves as Chief Financial officer for JumpTap. Ms. Brandt has over 20 years of financial management experience with high-growth technology companies including CFO positions in both public and private companies. With a strong focus on strategic financial planning, Ms. Brandt has strengthened the management teams of the companies she has worked with, supporting growth both organically and through acquisition. Prior to JumpTap, Ms. Brandt served as CFO for Spotfire, Inc, a provider of analytic software applications. In this role, she helped the company double in size within three years and conclude a strategic sale to Tibco Software. Prior to Spotfire, Ms. Brandt was CFO of eXcelon, a NADSAQ-listed software company specializing in databases and XML-based technologies for the telecommunications and other industries. As CFO of eXcelon, Ms. Brandt led mergers and acquisitions, managed financial and business plan development and analysis and positioned the company for an IPO in the mid-1990s. Ms. Brandt's extensive experience in financial management drove fast growth and long-term profitability at high-value, pioneering technology companies including Internet systems integration firm i-Cube; networking equipment vendors Proteon and Banyan Systems; software company AICorp: and Boston-based Cullinet Software, a database software pioneer that became the first publicly held software product vendor. She began her career in commercial lending at Bank of Boston. She holds a BA degree in Economics from Duke University.
Dennis Doughty
Vice President of Engineering
Dennis Doughty serves as Vice President of Engineering. With nearly two decades of experience in the high tech industry, Mr. Doughty has extensive experience in software architecture, interface design, strategic planning and project management. Before JumpTap, Mr. Doughty served as Vice President of Engineering for Pantero where he spearheaded development of the company's groundbreaking semantic integration suite. Prior to Pantero, Mr. Doughty served as Vice President of Engineering at Lycos. In this role, he led a global team responsible for the content and architecture of major Lycos Network properties, including Lycos Search, HotBot, and MyLycos. Prior to Lycos, Mr. Doughty served as Director of Engineering at Grasp Information Corporation, where he was responsible for the company's flagship knowledge management system, and at Interleaf, Inc., where he directed the company's document management offerings. Mr. Doughty has also held senior engineering positions at Inter national Lisp Associates and Symbolics, Inc. Mr. Doughty holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Jonas Hellgren
Vice President of Operations
Jonas Hellgren is Vice President of Operations at JumpTap. A seasoned IT and security industry veteran, Mr. Hellgren brings over 17 years of relevant experience to his role. He joined JumpTap from VeriSign, where he was Vice President of Client Services and Operations, overseeing the delivery of highly secure, highly scalable, and highly available Managed Security Services to a blue chip, international customer base. Prior to VeriSign, he was at Guardent, Inc., where he was Vice President of Operations, responsible for building and operating Guardent's Managed Security Services. At various times he was also responsible for product strategy and research, and for defining, developing, and positioning Guardent's market-leading products. Prior to Guardent, Jonas held technical leadership positions at Razorfish, Claremont Technology Group, and Andersen Consulting. Jonas earned a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Chalmers University of Technology in Sweden. He has extensive international experience, having previously worked on projects in Sweden, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, and Singapore
Paran Johar
Chief Marketing Officer
Paran Johar is JumpTap’s Chief Marketing Officer. Before joining JumpTap, Mr. Johar was EVP of Digital Marketing for North America and Managing Director of MRM's Los Angeles office. Mr. Johar’s responsibilities included overseeing all operations of the LA office and all digital marketing in North America including online media, search marketing, and mobile marketing. Prior to MRM, Mr. Johar was GM of the Los Angeles office for Tribal DDB where he was responsible for all online media, SEM, and SEO activities. Under his leadership, the Los Angeles office grew from $0 to over $80MM in annual billings, winning numerous awards such as Adweek's Interactive Agency of the Year in 2005. A seasoned and accomplished marketer and entrepreneur, Mr. Johar brings to JumpTap a diverse background in online branding and marketing communication work from other leading agencies such as iXL, Poppe Tyson, Bates USA, Saatchi and Saatchi and BBDO Worldwide. His client roster has spanned a broad range of work with media & brands such as Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Wells Fargo, Abbott Labs, Microsoft, GM, Toyota, and KFC among others.
David Kahan
General Counsel
David Kahan is JumpTap's General Counsel. Prior to joining JumpTap, Mr. Kahan had more than ten years experience as a senior executive, primarily with marketing oriented start-ups. Immediately before JumpTap, Mr. Kahan served in a variety of roles -- including General Counsel, VP of Business Development, and VP of Partner Relations -- at DirectoryM, a company that works with publishers to develop local advertising. Earlier, he was VP of Business Development for Zooba.com, a direct marketing company that was acquired by Bertelsmann. Previously, Mr. Kahan was chief Operating Officer at Athena Design, Inc., an object-oriented software start-up. Mr. Kahan also was Director of Strategic Planning and Projects at Malden Mills, the makers of Polartec®. Prior to assuming business leadership roles, Mr. Kahan spent 5 years practicing law with the Boston firm of Foley, Hoag & Eliot, and spent 4 years working on Capitol Hill focusing on tax and budget policy. Mr. Kahan holds a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was awarded the Potter Stewart Prize for best overall Moot Court performance. His B.A. is from Columbia College where he majored in Political Science, concentrated in Computer Science, and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
Mike Kent
General Manager, EMEA
Prior to JumpTap, Mr. Kent was Vice President and General Manager EMEA for Action Engine, where he was responsible for establishing and managing the company's European operations. From 2000 to 2004, Mr. Kent held senior executive sales and marketing management positions with Openwave Systems LTD and Magic4 LTD, before the latter was acquired by Openwave Systems LTD. Roles included Sales Director EMEA for Openwave Systems LTD and Sales and Marketing Director for Magic4 LTD. Prior to Openwave, Mr. Kent has held senior international sales and marketing management positions with Motorola, GSK, BAT and Cussons. Mr. Kent holds a MBA from Manchester Business School, a Business Studies degree from DeMontfort University, and a CIM Post Graduate Marketing Diploma from Salford University all in the UK.
Evan Krauss
Global Senior Vice President, Advertising Sales & Business Development
Evan Krauss is JumpTap’s Global Senior Vice President of Advertising Sales & Business Development. Prior to joining JumpTap, Mr. Krauss served as President and CEO of Cuts, Inc a critically acclaimed online video editing service. Before Cuts, Evan spent six and half years at Yahoo! in a number of senior management roles including ad sales and general management of Yahoo’s mobile efforts. Since 1995, Mr. Krauss has built and managed some of the earliest and most successful Internet advertising teams at Excite, AOL, and Looksmart. Throughout his career, he has been directly responsible for hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue and the creation of new Internet advertising products and models.
Jorey Ramer
Founder and Vice President of Corporate Development
Jorey Ramer is the Founder and Vice President of Corporate Development at JumpTap. Previously, Mr. Ramer was co-founder of two business units of Trilogy Software, one of the world's largest privately-held software companies, based in Austin, Texas. He was instrumental in co-founding Trilogy's financial services division, the largest unit by revenue within two years, designing the group's first product and implementing its associated marketing strategy. Leveraging this technology, Mr. Ramer and a dedicated team spun off a company that was acquired by Fortune 500 member Marsh & McLennan. Following Trilogy, Mr. Ramer created financial services business solutions at Isovia Software, an enterprise wireless applications company acquired by JP Mobile (now part of Motorola). Most recently, Mr. Ramer managed New England sales for TIBCO Software, rebuilding the dormant region and doubling the company's average revenues from new customers. Mr. Ramer holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science & Engineering degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Menashe Rothschild
Chief Technology Officer
Menashe Rothschild is the chief technology officer (CTO) at JumpTap where he oversees the growth of JumpTap's technical offerings for mobile search and leads the design of products to ensure that they scale for deployment at the worlds' largest global operators. Prior to JumpTap, Menashe held the role of CTO at Comverse, where he was responsible for overall product architecture, technology scouting, innovation and advanced technologies development. Prior to his CTO role, he served as Comverse's vice president of product management and marketing within the company's Messaging Division, and as vice president of Comverse's corporate research & development. Before joining Comverse, Rothschild held R & D management roles in the domains of computer-aided production engineering (at Tecnomatix), Artificial Intelligence (at Elron Electronic Industries), and SCADA systems (at Motorola).
Adam Soroca
Chief Product Officer / General Manager of Search and Advertising Services
Before JumpTap, Mr. Soroca served as General Manager of Search Services for Lycos, Inc., which included overseeing Lycos Search and HotBot, the award-winning, leading search engines in the Lycos Network of sites. Prior to his GM role, Mr. Soroca served as the Group Product Manager for Lycos InSite, a comprehensive suite of search marketing tools providing advertisers with a single dashboard to manage campaigns from customer acquisition through ROI analysis. Mr. Soroca grew the business line to include three major products and established billing relationships with over 100,000 advertisers and site owners. Before Lycos, Mr. Soroca ran three business units for Internet retailer MotherNature.com. Mr. Soroca graduated with Cum Laude honors from Middlebury College.
Yishay Waxman
Vice President of Sales
Yishay Waxman is the Vice President of Sales. Before JumpTap, Mr. Waxman was Director of Sales for the Americas at Comverse, where he was responsible for direct sales of the company's content delivery platform to wireless and wireline carriers. Mr. Waxman was also the Director of Marketing from 2000 - 2003, with responsibility for marketing of next-generation multimedia messaging, mobile Internet, text messaging, prepaid and voice messaging services. For five years prior to Comverse, Mr. Waxman ran a firm that specialized in bringing foreign companies into the Israeli market. Mr. Waxman's sales experience also includes tenure at Interkom, ranked as one of Canada's leading advertising agencies. Mr. Waxman holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree from McMaster University and received an M.B.A. from the University of Tel-Aviv.
