Quality Assurance Engineer


Description

The Quality Assurance Test Engineer position is primarily responsible for functional and system testing, and writing automated tests. A Test Engineer works closely with Product Management and Engineering through all stages of the development process, from specification to design. This position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for testing all functionality of our search and advertising applications

  • Work with Product Manager and Engineering to understand feature requirements and design

  • Execute tests through the entire SDLC to determine if features meets requirements

  • Responsibilities include functional testing, performance and stress testing, writing and maintaining test plans, scripts, bug reporting and tracking.

Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent).

  • Excellent Interpersonal skills

  • Must be self driven

  • Knowledge of wireless handsets a plus

  • Experience with SQL and Tomcat is preferred

  • Minimum 1 year of manual or automated testing

  • Detailed oriented and comfortable with asserting opinion about feature and products

  • Ideal candidates will have experience with Java (J2EE), Web Services, and XML (not required but nice to have)




Regional Advertising Sales Director


Description

This individual will lead a world-class Advertising Sales team in recruiting new clients into JumpTap's Mobile Search Advertising platform. This individual will be the focal point in generating and growing revenue for JumpTap through client advertising. S/he must be an enthusiastic evangelist in conveying the value of Mobile Search Advertising to advertisers, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) agencies, strategic partners and the online advertising industry as a whole. This individual will hire, train, coach and supervise the team of sales professionals.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Build and lead world-class and worldwide Sales team for JumpTap advertising services
  • Drive revenue growth by enrolling and up-selling key advertisers
  • Establish and maintain strategic relationships with advertising and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) agencies and national advertisers
  • Evaluate and drive business development and account management processes
  • Manage sales operations for international advertising sales team
  • Evangelize JumpTap's advertising and product suite to strategic industry partners
 
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred
  • Proven record of effective online sales, agency recruitment and sustained revenue growth
  • 7+ years experience in media sales management role in online or software industry required
  • Extensive knowledge of online advertising and search engine marketing (SEM) landscape highly preferred
  • SEM agency relationships and experience strongly preferred

Senior Account Executive


Description

Summary: This right candidate will contribute significantly to the number of sponsors utilizing JumpTap’s mobile advertising platforms. This individual is expected to be a leader within their respective JumpTap office as well as within the advertising community in general. S/he must be an enthusiastic evangelist in conveying the value of Mobile Search and Display Advertising to advertisers, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) agencies, strategic partners and the online advertising industry as a whole. Principal Duties & Responsibilities • Drive revenue growth by enrolling and up-selling key advertisers • Establish and maintain tactical relationships with advertising and Search Engine Marketing (SEM) agencies and national advertisers • Evangelize JumpTap's advertising and product suite within marketing community

Advertising Operations Manager


Description

Summary:  As a senior member of the Advertising Operations team, the Advertising Operations Manager will be responsible for managing all facets of the mobile ad sales planning process, including (a) developing media plans, (b) managing plan budgets, (c) implementation and trafficking plans and (d) reporting and billing.  The Advertising Operations Manager will be responsible for providing thought leadership, creating best practices, ensuring campaigns are optimized and coordinating the production of management reporting.  The Advertising Operations Manager is responsible for making the JumpTap advertising business successful through quality campaign management and trafficking.  Principal Duties & Responsibilities: ·         Coordinate the activities and priorities of a team of campaign managers so JumpTap maximizes revenue and delivers on commitments to customers·         Identify and accurately represent to the sale team deltas between expected inventory, revenue and inventory KPIs.·         Act as the JumpTap subject matter expert for campaign management and inventory·         Execute, oversee and optimize multiple media campaigns simultaneously across multiple markets·         Collaborate with sales on inventory and recommendations for new proposals·         Compile, evaluate and analyze results and recommend strategy/plan changes·         Create global and localized advertising best practices·         Create new hire and customers training for advertising platforms and reporting·         Ensure that customer reporting is delivered as expected and improve reporting and processes to create that reporting Respond to agency RFP’s (Request for Proposal)


Required Skills and Experience: ·         Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a Four-Year College or University.·         5-7 years experience in digital media, preferably in sales planning and campaign management·         Experienced in all forms of online targeting modules and buying options (e.g., behavioral, contextual, network buy, CPC, CPM, etc.)·         5+ years of experience with 24/7 Real Media’s Open AdStream·         Experience directly managing or project managing small to medium sized teams·         Excellent communication skills and a high level of computer/online proficiency·         Good interpersonal skills/team oriented; working with both internal departments, senior management and outside clients·         Must be outgoing, organized and efficient·         Ability to work in fast-paced environment·         Excellent analytical skills and must possess strong problem solving skills·         Must have the ability to pay close attention to details and work well under time constraints


Solutions Engineer


Description

Summary: Reporting to the Solutions Team Leader, the Solutions Engineer is responsible for the customization, integration, configuration of the various solution component instances (e.g. search engine, content services system) in the customer’s hosted environment as well as development of new customer unique features. The role also includes responsibility for implementing integration APIs with new and existing verticals, integrating 3rd parties and new content providers, implementing query classification data, writing search result sorting handlers, and developing expertise in search engine and content services implementations, focused on the mobile platform. The right candidate must have a strong background in web applications, server-side Java and relational databases and have developed and deployed highly available applications using Tomcat and Apache. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: • Development, debugging, and testing of large-scale, distributed search-related components in a hosted environment • Development and debugging of automation & unit tests • Given a high level functional specification, write detailed program design • Maintain design & implementation documents. • Perform occasional code review. Adhering to self-check methodologies producing high quality work with careful attention to detail, leaving no open ends • Design & develop Java server-side code to enhance the search engine customization • Customer support


Requirements: • Position requires a Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a Four-Year College or University; or equivalent combination of both education and experience. Summary: Director of Publisher Sales, East Coast will build and lead East Coast publisher sales in recruiting new clients into JumpTap's advertising network. This individual will be the focal point in generating and growing traffic for JumpTap from mobile websites, media companies, and mobile application developers. S/he must be an enthusiastic evangelist in conveying the value of JumpTap's business and technical capabilities to publishers, strategic partners, and the online publishing industry as a whole. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: • Drive traffic growth by enrolling and up-selling key publishers and media companies. • Establish and maintain relationships with business partners that have publishers and media companies as their customers. • Evaluate and drive account management processes. • Evangelize JumpTap's business and technical capabilities to strategic industry partners.
